Pointcaster

Pointcaster is a real-time engine for capturing, combining, analysing and broadcasting 3D scenes. By taking input from multiple live sources like Orbbec and Azure Kinect depth cameras and analysing the 3D environment, it can be used to add room-scale interaction to digital spaces.

Data like the location of users in a space or their current pose can be published through various protocols such as OSC, MIDI and MQTT to drive interaction in game engines, digital audio workstations and other interactive media applications.

Point-clouds are combined and can be transformed, filtered and streamed into tools for 3D visualisation using the included plugins for Unity, Unreal Engine and TouchDesigner.
