I plan to try to enable WAN connections after the upcoming update. If we end up getting marked for additional review and rejected, it can take months to resolve with Apple.

Hope this next release is soon! I used to be able to connect over WAN with moonlight-ios. I had the internet hosting tool and all the ports forwarded. But with this latest update, it just quit working. I can still remote connect with the app on Mac, though.

If it's not soon, no worries. Life gets busy. Just wanted to vocalize the desire for it. lol

I know this is a little old, but any updates on this?
I think it might be implemented already as with the port forwarding i am able to connect over cellular

Nope :(
It seems this just got abandoned without transparency which is unfortunate

You can connect via WAN as follows by entering the IP in this format [::ffff:95.88.62.69]:47989

This does not work for me for some reason. So I can't stream over the internet to my iPhone. But Moonlight on my MacBook is working over the internet just fine without needing this ipv6 trick.

I'm not sure what the problem is.
