About 8th grade: As a programming teacher, I would write the code in front of the students in real time as it was being displayed on the screen. I improvised during class, tailoring the lessons to each student’s interests. That’s also why the colors in the website projects aren’t harmonious-they were based on the students’ suggestions, for the sake of experimentation and visual clarity. Each student had their own project, with their own text and individual images generated using free artificial intelligence. The students wrote their plans in Google Docs and included many screenshots and images in them. The uploaded learning materials served as a model for them to create their own.
About 9th grade: For the lessons throughout almost the entire school year, I used the ready-made and approved teaching materials from Vanya Yaneva’s website https://qneva.weebly.com/10481058_9-1050105110401057-oo1055.html, so I have very few of my own lesson plans. Since 8th graders study HTML in the second semester, and given the current geopolitical situation, they created a webpage about Picasso with an anti-war message as their introductory project. Since the other group gave presentations for each new lesson, my students expressed a desire to present an HTML page instead of a presentation. I created a class website for them, which served as a resource for them.
