This Implementation of a compatible Data East 32-bit ARM arcade hardware platform in HDL is the work of Marcus Andrade.
The Data East "DECO32" platform is a 32-bit arcade system built around a custom ARM v2 processor paired with Data East's family of custom tilemap, sprite, and I/O/protection ICs. Introduced in 1991 the board family powered a run of Data East beat'em ups and fighters through 1994.
This core implements the Data East DE-0351 PCB in HDL. The sibling boards (Fighter's History, Night Slashers, and Tattoo Assassins) are planned follow-on targets. The DE-0359 PCB (Dragon Gun and Locked 'n Loaded) is a more distant target due to the different sprite hardware.
