Works with both direct LAN URLs and Cloud URLs.

#### GitHub Copilot app

In the GitHub Copilot app, add a new MCP server and fill in the form with the **HTTP** transport selected.

1. Open **Settings → MCP Servers**.
1. Click **Add server**.
1. Enter **Server name**: `openHAB`.
1. Select **HTTP**.
1. Enter **URL**: `http://openhab.local:8080/mcp`.
1. Add a header with name `Authorization` and value `Bearer <your-openhab-token>`.
1. Save the server.

#### GitHub Copilot in VS Code

VS Code 1.99+ can connect to HTTP MCP servers directly.
You can store the configuration per-workspace in `.vscode/mcp.json`, or globally via **MCP: Open User Configuration**.

```json
{
"servers": {
"openhab": {
"type": "http",
"url": "http://openhab.local:8080/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer <your-openhab-token>"
}
}
}
}
```

After saving, start the server from the `mcp.json` editor if VS Code shows a **Start** button, then open Copilot Chat in **Agent** mode to use the tools.

#### Antigravity CLI (agy)

Antigravity CLI configuration is stored in `~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json`.
