The pop-upgrade process runs periodically and seemingly each time it does, it gets stuck at 100% CPU until I manually kill it. This has been going on for a while, but I just got around to trying to dig into why it's happening.
It appears that it has something to do with the NVIDIA components?

I've attached logs. The hang seems to have begun at July 31 2026 at 12:29:37, with this line (see journal-logs.txt):

It turned my computer into a space heater for a few hours, until I killed it at August 01 2026 at 15:50:41.
