This utility was created to enable more reliable distribution release upgrades for Pop!_OS. In addition to upgrading releases, it also supports upgrading the recovery partition. This is a replacement for Ubuntu's do-release-upgrade family of Python scripts, and is written in Rust. It provides a single binary with a CLI frontend, and a Dbus API daemon. When running the binary with the daemon subcommand as root, this will provide interactability with GNOME Settings and other CLI instances.
