IMMARKUS is a semantic image annotation service that allows you to assemble and organize image collections and their metadata, identify specific image regions, create custom data models to annotate images, and add relationships between elements in and across images. You can use various commercial and open AI models, and add your own, to select image parts or transcribe and translate text in various languages. IMMARKUS also includes a powerful knowledge graph to visualize and query images, annotations, relationships, and metadata.

Working with IMMARKUS is straightforward and hassle-free. Open IMMARKUS in your browser, select a folder on your device with images, or select a folder within which to import IIIF images, and begin annotating.
IMMARKUS operates fully locally without transmitting data to a server. All images, data models, and annotations are stored on your device, ensuring complete privacy and control over your work.
We develop continually so that instructions are sometimes a bit behind. Check back from time to time; instructions are regularly updated.
