Summary of Changes

Hello @cathay4t, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request focuses on preparing the project for its initial 0.1.0 release by updating the CHANGELOG. The changes streamline the version history, removing prior development iterations and establishing a clear starting point for the project's public versioning.

Highlights

  • Changelog Reset: The CHANGELOG file has been completely revised. All previous development entries, ranging from version 0.2.9 down to 0.2.4, have been removed. This action effectively clears the historical record to prepare for a clean initial release.
  • Initial Release Entry: A new entry for version 0.1.0 has been added to the CHANGELOG. This entry explicitly marks the 'Init release' as a new feature, signifying the project's first official version.

Code Review

This pull request aims to initialize version 0.1.0, but it does so by deleting the entire history from the CHANGELOG file. This is a significant loss of information for users and contributors. I've left a comment suggesting to preserve the history. Additionally, the Cargo.toml file still indicates version 0.2.9 and has not been updated to 0.1.0 as part of this release preparation. This inconsistency should be addressed.
