Use the new updater package from safedep/dry to check GitHub releases for a newer version of vet on each run. The check is fired off asynchronously before command execution and consumed with a non-blocking read afterwards, so it never delays or blocks the CLI. The notice is written to stderr to avoid corrupting machine-readable stdout output (JSON, SARIF). Dev/source builds without a meaningful release version are skipped.
