Location.Remote for codeLocation?

Is remote location supported for function source? The documentation seems to indicate it is but I see "Invalid code location" being reported for my request.

The helper function here seems to indicate you are only handling inline source (which obviously makes it super wasteful from gas perspective). Can someone confirm if this is also the restriction on the DON runtime or just in the helper?
