Welcome to the chorekeeper wiki!

It is said that the best way to rest from one task is to spend time on a different task - and chorekeeper is a productivity tool designed to help you do exactly that.

Say there are two tasks - one which you enjoy doing - one which you begrudge doing but have to get done anyway (either because you are required to do it, or because as much as you hate the process of doing it, you hate the consequences of leaving it un-done even more). One way to manage it is to spend time doing what you enjoy - but every so often (say every fifteen minutes) have a reminder given to you to put down the task that you enjoy for a few minutes and work on the dreaded task -- but after those few minutes are up, then (unless you are in "the zone") you can put the dreaded task down and get back to the task you love doing.
