Je vous soumet une idée de traduction, potentiellement rafinable, j'avais aussi pensé à Pare-pince.
Par analogie avec le Pare-feu, je pense que "Pare" est légitime à entamer la traduction. La dénomination de l'objet paré me semble plus ouvert au débat.
