This doesn't do what Tim suggests, because this doesn't really duplicate as much of the DAP processes as it seems on first read. Most of the integration here is really just taking stuff from the algorithms and structures we define and mapping those onto DAP concepts. There's a tiny bit of duplication, but dropping that makes it much harder to explain where the values we hold go.
