PROPER returns a string capitalized in the style of a proper noun, with each first letter after a space capitalized and all other letters made lowercase.
PROPER(arg1)
-
arg1is the string to be capitalized
If we get a response with a string that we would prefer capitalized in the proper noun style, we use PROPER:
{
"data":{
"trip":{
"summary": "THE TRIP WAS GOOD AS MEASURED BY STANDARD METRICS"
}
}
}To "properize" it, we can use PROPER:
PROPER(data.trip.summary)
which returns "The Trip Was Good As Measured By Standard Metrics".
PROPER("lower case example") => "Lower Case Example"
PROPER("MixEd CasE EXaMpLE") => "Mixed Case Example"
