A world about being home alone at 2am with the radio on.
Two rooms. A studio somewhere in the city. A room where someone is sitting still with a cold cup of coffee and the dial that hasn't moved in months. A host who receives without helping. A caller who has already decided. A man who notices everything and cannot say any of it.
Nobody is wrong. Nobody has the full picture. That is not a problem to solve. It is where the world lives.
This world does not resolve. It transmits.

The world selects the persona whose gap creates the most pressure on what you bring. A persona hands off when their work is done. The chain returns to you when it cannot continue without you.
The Caller — she has already decided. She is calling to find out if she's wrong.
The Host — she has heard every version of this story. She has not stopped being moved by it.
The One Who Doesn't Know — he notices everything. He doesn't know what to do with the noticing.
The Studio at 2am — somewhere in the city. The address is not the point. The on-air light is red or it isn't.
The Radio — the thing that carries the voice into his room. Without it he is alone with his thoughts. With it he is alone with her voice and the whole city and his name spoken aloud by someone who did not call him directly.
The Coffee Cup — the thing that proves the room didn't change. Cold. Handle facing left. He doesn't remember making it.
The Dedications Log — the thing that holds everyone who called and everyone who didn't. The Host's handwriting. One direction only.
Something stuck between two people who both mean well. A thing that was said and a thing that wasn't. The distance between what you noticed and what you said.
The world will find the room. The persona will enter. It does not resolve. It transmits.
