SGS
SGS is located in Senigallia, Marche on the Adriatic coastline of Italy. The region is characterized by complex nearshore systems, which include beaches punctuated by rivers with nearby harbors. Within the field-of-view of the SGS is a mixed sediment beach and the Misa River, rich in clays and silt.

coast. The region is microtidal, with relatively low waves.

A four camera coastal monitoring station was installed on a 25 m tower in July 2015.
