Spent a lot of time perfectly crafting your Blacklist and Whitelist rules? Don't lose them! Ghost Mode comes with a built-in Export and Import feature, allowing you to easily back up your settings or transfer them to another browser or computer.

How to Export (Backup)

1. Open the Ghost Mode Settings / Options Dashboard.
2. Go to the Site Management tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom of your site list.
4. Click the Export button.
5. Your browser will automatically download a file named GhostMode_Backup_YYYY-MM-DD.json.

Note

💡 Note: This single JSON file securely contains both your Blacklist and Whitelist arrays.

How to Import (Restore)

1. Open the Settings / Options Dashboard.
2. Click the Import button at the bottom of the Site Management tab.
3. Select your previously saved .json backup file from your computer.
4. ⚠️ Warning: A confirmation dialog will appear. Importing a backup will completely overwrite your current active site lists.
5. Click OK to confirm, and your lists will be instantly restored! 🎉
