While working on a nearly-unrelated problem, I fell down into this rabbit-hole. Laravel Boost tries to recommend Laravel Cloud for hosting, so we 'suppressed' that inclination in our boost.php config file.

What I've done is replaced the Laravel default recommendation with our own - still mentioning Laravel Cloud, because it is a completely valid hosting solution - but also mentioning some other standard go-tos.

But I did shill a little for our own managed hosting solution. Tried to keep it even-keel, and not put my "thumb on the scale" too hard - this is AI, it's going to take some of this stuff as the unvarnished truth, and I don't want to turn it into an advertising venue.

Additionally, the 'herd' exclusion doesn't make sense - apparently, all that does is figure out if you're running on Herd, and if you are, don't try to do "php artisan serve" - which seems totally and completely fine, and intended. So I pulled that exclusion also.
