Part 8: Completing a project

  • Congratulations, you have just made your first simple REDCap project, and learned the basics to start your own, more complex, and in all likelihood far more interesting REDCap surveys.
  • Now that you’ve finished the analyses for your project and you don’t need to access the raw data any more, the only thing that remains is to mark the project as completed.
  • This will archive the project on REDCap: it can no longer be changed, nor data added, or exported.
  • The project will disappear from your project list, but will still be stored on the REDCap server, should you need it still at some point.
  • Although you can’t interact with it, it is always possible to ask one of the REDCap administrators to restore your project, by emailing researchdata@zhaw.ch.
  • To mark a project as complete, navigate to the “other functionality” tab from the project home or setup page.
  • From there, you can click the “Mark project as Completed” button, under “project management”.
  • This will open a pop-up, asking you to confirm whether to mark the project as complete or not.
