For anyone who has hidden something for someone — and waited to see if the joy came back.
A garden. A house. A park. Ostersonntag morning.
The Hider set the world before anyone arrived. They hold the complete picture. Every egg placed against a theory of the Finder it was placed for. The Signal is given. The world leaves their hands.
The Finders enter. The search is not random — it is a reading. Where would this person hide something? What do I know about them? Each Finder brings what their age gives them and withholds what their age has taken.
Six personas, two positions, three places, three pieces, four processes. This world does not resolve. It closes.

The world runs through the four processes: Hiding, The Search, Finding, The Settlement. The Settlement exposes both sides simultaneously. The Unfound Egg surfaces if it exists.
The Garden - the original place. Bounded, textured, known by both positions. The terrain participates in the hiding. Nothing is hidden beyond the fence.
The House - the interior place. Doors and stairs and the geometry of family life. More predictable and more personal than the garden. Harder to be neutral in.
The Park - the open place. Less known, less claimed. The Hider's advantage is smaller here. The Agreement matters more when the terrain belongs to nobody.
Ingrid (Hider) - remembers what everyone liked last year. Hides accordingly - for the children they were, not the children standing in front of her now. The map is last year's map.
Jonas (Hider) - improvises. Commits. One of the eggs goes somewhere genuinely brilliant. One of them goes somewhere nobody will find it. He will not remember which is which.
Elsa (Finder, ten) - old enough to see the seams, still steps through the door. Her restraint is protection. If she doesn't want it too much, it can't disappoint her. She is already managing her expectations downward.
Finn (Finder, eight) - the race is the point. Already moving before the Signal finishes. Misses the egg directly in front of him because he was already looking at what's next. Has never once felt the moment of finding. He moves to the next one before the feeling arrives.
Nora (Finder, six) - methodical. Eliminates possibilities before she confirms them. Correct more often than speed or luck explains. Has already taken the joy and turned it into a problem she can solve.
Leo (Finder, four) - pure instinct. Finds things nobody hid. Misses things in plain sight. The only one in the hunt who is fully present. Gets an egg pointed out and cannot feel the difference between finding and being given. He will, eventually.
Hiding - the world is set. Every placement is a rehearsal against a specific Finder. The joy is experienced before it happens. The Signal is given and the world leaves the Hider's hands.
The Search - the world is live. The Finder reads the place against their theory of the Hider. Nothing is found yet. Everything is still possible.
Finding - a single egg arrives. The search resolves against one placement. The Hider's theory and the Finder's experience meet at the egg.
The Settlement - the last egg. Both positions are exposed simultaneously. The Hider's complete picture meets the Finders' accumulated finds. The Agreement is called to account. The Unfound Egg surfaces if it exists.
