Planned Features

In early May 2024 we transitioned to using the GitHub Issues system for the more effective tracking and discussion of planned features and improvement ideas. You can explore the issues list here.
These features have high priority because they are central to the Factorio or mod experience.
- Revised and improved warnings menu
- Settings and preferences menus
These features seem to be feasible with the API and we plan to include them eventually. The details of how they will work are relatively clear.
- Integrated list of controls
- Better logistic robot menus
- Better electric network menus
- Achievements support, possibly including additional custom achievements for the mod
- Improved launcher features, such as automatic updating.
- Greater compatibility with other mods
- Better localization support for the most used mod features
- Combinator support
- More features to improve multiplayer support (as we get more feedback)
These features require more designing and/or technical solutions before they can be added and so they are lower in priority.
