Vision and Motivation

• What is the motivation behind this project?
• Which problems do we aim to solve?
• Will there be monetization? If so, how will it work?

User Base

• Which group of people do we target (For example, occupation, age, education level, etc.) ?
• What are the expectations of the users (mentee/mentors)?
• Will there be an age requirement?
• Can a user have more than one account?
• Can everybody be a mentor?

Functional Requirements

• Does the user need to register to the application to access the service? If so, is there any functional thing to do without logging in?
• Do the users communicate directly on the app (peer to peer)?
• Will there be user profiles? If so, what personal information will be displayed?
• What kind of administrative mechanisms will be used, if any? (If there will be admin accounts: What information will they have access to, etc.)
• Will there be a feedback mechanism?
• What requirements/certifications will be asked from those opening a mentor account, if any?
• Will the mentors and mentees be matched automatically by the system? If not so, which options does the matching mechanism should be based on (Location, Gender, Age, Ranking, etc.).
• Can a user be a mentor and mentee at the same time?
• If so, can two users have a mutual mentorship relationship in different domains? (For example, John mentors Margaratte in archery, while Margaratte mentors John in coding.)
• Is it possible for one mentor to mentor multiple mentees at the same time?
• Which file types is allowed for resource sharing? Will there be any copyright restrictions ?

Non-Functional Requirements

• How will the user data be processed? What is the confidentiality level?
• How many users the system should support? Will this number increase in the future?
• What is the target platform (Operating system, Device, Browser)?
• What are the accessibility requirements?
