| # | Question (Instructor) | Answer (Team) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | How can I track the progress of a mentee to see if my mentorship was effective? | Progress is tracked via the Timeline feature. Mentors/mentees view chronological interaction history, milestones, and posts. Mentors can also check posts on a mentee’s profile to see growth across different mentorships. |
| 2 | Is messaging actually implemented? | Yes, private messaging is fully functional with persistence and moderation/reporting capabilities. (Note: Discoverability was identified as a follow-up item). |
| 3 | Is there a session overview available directly on the schedule page? | No; currently, session overviews (mentor/mentee info, status) are centralized on the Dashboard. (Note: Instructor suggested adding this to the schedule view). |
- Stability: The platform handled the live walkthrough smoothly; pre-seeded demo accounts ensured a consistent pace.
- Business Logic: The audience positively noted the demonstration of "in action" rules (e.g., slot overlap prevention, guard states).
- Discoverability Issues: The instructor's questions about messaging and progress tracking suggested these features need more prominent UX placement or a more explicit showcase.
- Timeline Usage: The timeline was identified as a unique selling point for mentee progress, but its role needs to be more clearly signposted.
- Information Architecture: Feedback indicated a preference for seeing session details within the calendar/schedule context rather than only on the dashboard.
- Identified the need for a lightweight session overview on the schedule page.
- Recognized that the "Timeline" needs higher prominence in the mentor-facing UI.
- Confirmed that the "Community -> Workshop -> Mentorship" funnel is a strong value proposition.
